                               RESOLUTION NO. 18716
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS, STREETS AND
                   AIRPORTS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
                   CITY OF EAST RIDGE FOR THE CITY OF
                   CHATTANOOGA TO PROVIDE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
                   CONTROLLER MAINTENANCE SERVICE AS REQUESTED
                   BY THE CITY OF EAST RIDGE AS CITY PERSONNEL
                   ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1990
                   THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1990, UPON CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Interim Director of Public 
Works,
       Streets and Airports be and is hereby authorized to execute an
       Agreement with the City of East Ridge for the City of Chattanooga 

       to provide traffic signal controller maintenance services as
       requested by the City of East Ridge as City personnel are
       available, for the period July 1, 1990 through September 30, 
1990,
       with the City of East Ridge paying to the City of Chattanooga the 

       cost of providing such service based upon the actual time of the
       personnel involved, the benefits and overhead costs of these
       personnel and the direct costs of materials and supplies.
